Membership Renewal

Membership renewals take place each August as we begin a new fiscal year. â€‹If you’re returning to GaRID, please renew your current account rather than submitting a new application.​

 

How to Renew Your Membership

  • Sign in using the email associated with your GaRID account.

  • Open your member profile.

  • Select the option to renew your membership for the upcoming year.

  • Review and update your profile details, including what you’d like to appear in the Member Directory.

  • Save your changes to complete the process.

GaRID’s membership year runs from July 1 through June 30. All RID memberships renew annually on July 1. GaRID offers both auto-renewing and non-auto-renew membership options. Auto-renewal is encouraged for convenience and continuity, helping to ensure uninterrupted access to member benefits and services. and renewals are not automatic.


Important Renewal Dates: 

  • July 1 — RID membership renewal deadline

  • July 31 — GaRID membership expires

  • August 1 — Renew your GaRID membership

CERTIFIED MEMBER

$32/year

For interpreters who are RID Certified Members in good standing.​

Membership includes:

  • Voting privileges (GaRID + RID)

  • Directory listing

  • Event & CEU discounts

  • Eligibility for board and committee service

$22/year

For interpreters who are RID Associate Members in good standing.

Membership includes:

  • Voting privileges (GaRID + RID)

  • CEU & event discounts

STUDENT MEMBER

$12/year

​For students currently enrolled in a sign language interpreting or interpreter training program and who hold RID Student Membership.

Membership includes:

  • Reduced membership fee

  • CEU & workshop discounts

  • Mentorship opportunities

  • Does not include voting privileges.
    Note: Register using your student email address.    ​

SUPPORTING MEMBER INDIVIDUAL

$12/year

For individuals who support GaRID’s mission and want to stay connected.

Membership includes:

  • Newsletter & community updates

  • Invitations to public events
    No voting privileges.    ​

BUSINESS

$100/year

For agencies, organizations, and businesses that want to support GaRID’s mission.

Membership includes:

  • Logo posted on the website with live link

  • Visibility in statewide community initiatives

  • CEU processing fee waived for up to 3 years.

  • Workshop advertisement

  • No votingprivileges.
    Note: Register using your business name.

Membership dues can be paid using any of the options below. Please choose the method that works best for you.

Submit your payment directly through the GaRID website.
 

Zelle
Send payments to treasurer@garid.org.
Please include your full name and membership type in the memo so we can process your renewal accurately.
 

Mail a Check
