Membership in the Georgia Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (GaRID) is open to anyone who is interested in promoting Deaf awareness or improving his or her sign language skills. Nominal membership dues are required. Membership entitles you to discounts for workshops and conferences, participation in Special Interest Groups, and a quarterly newsletter, GaRID Faces, which provides articles and information on workshops, conventions, job opportunities, sign language classes, evaluations, as well as local and national interpreting news (REV/11/2005).
